Vetoquinol Pro-Pectalin Oral Paste for Dogs and Cats

Life saver. Trying to switch three dogs from Purina Beyond dog food to fresh dog food has been an adventure to say the least. After a visit to the vet for the squirts and two stool samples later, only to be sent home with probiotics and clear stool samples, our third dog got the squirts. I was about to take her the vet, but AI reminded me of the product which a different vet had given us in the past, so I was familiar with it and always assumed you needed a RX for it. Luckily AI told me to try it, and I knew my dog issue was just a new food switch issue, so I ordered it after a night of no sleep due to squirts.

When my pug needs some help firming up his stool this is my go to. I add this to his food and usually within 24 hours, his stools improve. He loves the taste and it adds flavor to his regular diet. Propectalin is also a probiotic which is very good for your dog’s gut health. It is recommended that you make sure it doesn’t cause constipation, but we have not had that problem. I highly recommend this product and so does my Vet!

This is the second time I purchased this to use with foster kittens. This stuff is great to reintroduce good gut biome. With small kittens I put a little of the paste in a dish and then use a 1 ml syringe to draw up a few mls of the paste. This also makes it easy to give to the kitten. Taste doesn’t seem to be too bad for the kittens.

Great product - just buy it. Twice a year like clockwork, spring and fall, one of our indoor/outdoor cats (judge if you want) goes out and gets into something he either eats or drinks and develops some rather leaky terrible diarrhea that we have to help clean him rather frequently and keep him to one room and then we need to deep clean and desanitize. It’s gross, I know but we are so thankful this stuff works within a couple of days. We make sure that our house is never without it and a fresh tube is always in the fridge ready to go.

My dog is super picky, and giving him medicine is usually a whole quest! But he absolutely approved this one! He was so eager to take it and even asked for more. It works wonders, and the fact that he actually likes it is a huge win!

It’s great for upset digestion in cats and has lots of probiotics which is great for their healthWe also use Hslo cat food that has additional probiotics but for upset digestion this worked very well as an additional product as needed
