Terms and conditions
Last updated 19 September 2026. Please read these terms before placing an order.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Paws&Beaks ("Paws&Beaks", "we", "us"), trading address 26A Bloomgate, Lanark, ML11 9ET. We sell pet supplies online to customers in the United Kingdom. You can contact us through our contact page or at hello@pawsbeaks.com.
2. Using these terms
By placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not order. We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place your order are the ones that apply to it.
3. Ordering and contract
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm that we have accepted your order and taken payment. We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there is an obvious pricing error or if we cannot deliver to your address. If we decline after you have paid, we will refund you in full.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where it applies. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken by card through our payment provider, which handles your card details securely. We never see or store your full card number.
If a price is shown incorrectly, we will tell you before dispatch and give you the choice to buy at the correct price or cancel for a refund.
5. Discount codes
Discount codes are single-use per order unless stated otherwise, cannot be exchanged for cash and may have a minimum spend. We may withdraw a code at any time before it is used.
6. Delivery
We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom. Standard delivery usually takes 14 to 21 working days after dispatch. Delivery is free on orders over £50; otherwise it costs £13.99. Delivery times are estimates. See our delivery and returns page for more detail.
7. Your right to cancel and return
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from the day you receive your goods to cancel your order without giving a reason. We give you longer: you can return unopened items within 30 days of delivery. For hygiene and safety reasons we cannot accept opened food or items that have been used, unless they are faulty. Full instructions are on our delivery and returns page.
8. Faulty or damaged goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If an item is faulty or arrives damaged, contact us and we will repair, replace or refund it as the law requires.
9. Product information and pet safety
We take care to describe products accurately, but colours, sizes and packaging may vary slightly. Toys and chews should be used under supervision, and you should choose sizes suited to your pet. Nothing on this site is veterinary advice. If you are worried about your pet's health, speak to your vet.
10. Our liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss and damage caused by our breach of these terms. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
11. Intellectual property
The content of this site, including text, images and logos, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
12. Privacy
We handle your personal data as described in our privacy policy.
13. Complaints and governing law
If you are unhappy with our service, contact us first and we will do our best to put it right. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
