TheraPetMD Dog Calming Diffuser Kit, 2 Pack

This is a little lengthy, but worth it. Thank you in advance admin, I appreciate it. I know you're busyI am adopting a 1 y/o golden lab (purebread). She will have had now four homes and 1 foster in one year. I know she's probably gonna have anxiety / displacement issues. Back story on me : I have trained police dogs and service dogs since I was 17 and i'm 65 now (she will be my last and for myself). I have worked with people to help them train goldens, but myself have never completly trained one. I usually specialize on retraining for PTSD, assistance for service members and some police work.

This product has seemingly made my dogs behaviors much worse. I ordered it because I had 2 young dogs, then adopted a 7 year old, a breeder surrender that lived in a kennel all his life. All 3 are males. I was hoping to improve the hiking of their legs to mark their territory. All 3 were doing great at house breaking, it was just them hiking their legs to mark “their” territory. All 3 got along beautifully, never any aggression towards each other. Well, I got this diffuser, because I saw ads claiming it would make dogs stop marking their territory and peeing inside. Its been a month now.

My 5 year-old-golden retriever is generally fairly calm, well-behaved and is an absolute sweetheart, but recently he became very fidgety at bedtime and during the night. I don't know if he developed insomnia or what was going on, but he'd lie down in his bed and within a few minutes would start rolling around, and even when he settled, I could hear him getting up during the night and moving around. He'd been to the vet and does not have any medical issues or skin problems, so I was looking for a solution to help him relax and sleep at night.I came across the TheraPetMD diffuser kit and I thought I'd give it a try.

I really wanted to love this diffuser because, when it was working, I genuinely noticed a difference in both of my dogs. I have a puppy who was working on crate training and house training, and the diffuser seemed to help him settle in his crate and have fewer accidents in the house. It also helped my other dog with anxiety during thunderstorms. I really liked that it was convenient to turn on when they needed it and turn off when they didn’t.Over the course of about two months, I probably used it 8, 10 times, primarily when my dogs really needed the extra support.

I was really hesitant about this product because my dog is extremely heavy. Imperative, he is a puppy, he is a Dalmatian mix with a Labrador and he is really in his months where he wants to destroy everything, bark at everyone, he plays with my cats and is very aggressive, because he has a lot of strength, he doesn't stop all day, every day I find something destroyed outside my yard I was even thinking of giving him away, were he can have more space to play because I just couldn't stand all the destruction anymore. Then I tried this and it brought spectacular results.

I decided to try these TheraPetMD Dog Calming Diffusers to help reduce some stress and anxiety behaviors in my dog. While it's still relatively early, I can honestly say that things seem to be going well so far. The diffuser was easy to set up, and my dog appears to be a little more relaxed since I started using it. Of course, every dog is different, and calming products can take some time to fully evaluate, but I've noticed enough improvement to feel optimistic. One thing I did notice is a slight scent when walking by the diffuser.

came across the TheraPetMD diffuser kit and I thought I'd give it a try. First of all, it's absolutely adorable-- but it's also easy to use. I wasn't sure it was working because there isn't a strong scent, thought after checking it a few times, I did notice a faint smell-- which is actually good because I am allergic to lots of different scents. I plugged it into an outlet right near my dog's bed. The first couple of nights I didn't really notice a difference, but on the third night, he got into his bed, and went right to sleep.

I’d have to say I had neutral results, but easy to use.I’m not entirely sure if this made a noticeable difference in calming my dog, but we didn't experience any negative side effects or issues either. To be fair, it might just be hard for a pheromone diffuser to tone down full 6-month-old puppy energy! Overall, it's fine, but hard to say if it truly worked for us.
